Phoenix Hall Queen Street East Sunderland
Celebrating its 240th anniversary this year, Phoenix Hall is a Grade 1 listed building, it was built by the Phoenix Lodge in 1785 and is the only purpose Built Masonic Hall of its type. Built in the Paladian Style of Architecture.
Ryhope Engines Museum
The Ryhope Engines Museum is based on the former Ryhope Pumping Station which provided water to Wearside for 100 years. This is a unique opportunity to see the wonderful Victorian beam engines working under steam power as they have since 1868.
