Damhouse, Historical Manor House with Tea Room
Damhouse is a Grade II* listed Manor House in 17acres of Woodland. It is currently owned by Morts Astley Heritage Trust and houses a Tea Room, offices and function rooms. The historical part of the building remains as it was in the 1500s.

Lancashire Mining Museum Commemorating the Battle of Britain
Commemorating the Battle of Britain and coal mining during the Second World War, remembering the Bevin Boys who were drafted into the coal mines to help the war effort. The winding engine will be running, and the lamp room and cottage will be open.
Leigh Spinners Heritage Centre extended opening
The Heritage Centre will be open for an additional day, Sunday 20 September, and longer opening hours on Saturday 19 September. Come along and see how people lived in mid 1900s. We will be open from 10 am till 4 pm on both days.
