Beyond Haigh Hall - The Estate and Its People
A project exploring the lives of the servants and estate workers who sustained Haigh Hall and its wider estate. This event introduces the research, shares findings, and highlights the people whose work shaped daily life at Haigh over generations.
Damhouse, Historical Manor House with Tea Room
Damhouse is a Grade II* listed Manor House in 17acres of Woodland. It is currently owned by Morts Astley Heritage Trust and houses a Tea Room, offices and function rooms. The historical part of the building remains as it was in the 1500s.
Lancashire Mining Museum Commemorating the Battle of Britain
Commemorating the Battle of Britain and coal mining during the Second World War, remembering the Bevin Boys who were drafted into the coal mines to help the war effort. The winding engine will be running, and the lamp room and cottage will be open.

St James with St Thomas Church - 160th Anniversary plus Bellringing experience.
St James 160th Anniversary. Stalls and craft workshops. Faith cafe for light refreshments. Church tours with our lovely Deacon Alison Brown (our own Vicar of Dibley) General bellringing. All ringers welcome. Come and observe and see what it's about.
St Peter's Church, Leigh: Open Day & Exhibition
Explore the beautiful Peter's Church of Austin Palen design. We also have a World War I war memorial, believed to be one of the best in the North West and will host an exhibition on the local history of the church and school.
