The Civic Society saved from landfill the archives of the Worcester News, containing over a million press cuttings, negatives and photographs. These are being catalogued by volunteers in a secure room below the History & Heritage POD.

The Worcester news archives contain 100 boxes of press cuttings & photographs, Millions of b/w & colour negatives, 1500 glass plate negatives dated from 1936 to 1965 and 254 editions of the Berrows journals dated from 1801 to the 1990s.
