Discover the everyday stories of the people living and working at 9-10 Market Place before it became the home of Chippenham Museum.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the official opening of Chippenham Museum in its current location on the High Street, Chippenham Museum's Young Curators Group have uncovered the extraordinary story of the site. Now home to the galleries and collections of the museum, the two Grade II listed Georgian town houses were once occupied by a variety people and businesses. Drop in from 10.30am-3.30pm and discover more about those that have called 9-10 Market Place home. Enjoy our related family activities and a special opportunity to view the exciting animation 'A Chip Through Time', produced by our Young Curators Group.
