Step back in time and meet the Anglo-Saxons at Abingdon Museum!

Abingdon Museum is happy to present 'Hwitmearum', the Oxfordshire branch of Regia Anglorum (Regia). The re-enactment group will provide a small encampment with craftspeople and visual displays. During this Anglo-Saxon living history event they will show food preparation, wood working or similar crafts, a scriptorium, games, music and a small armoury display.

Directions:
There are numerous car parks near the location such as the Abbey Close car Park, Civic car park and Rye Farm car park. There are frequent buses to Abingdon from Oxford (bus stop in St Aldate’s). Alight in the High Street and walk back towards the Museum.
