A History of You - Zine Workshop
Nantwich Museum, Pillory Street, Nantwich, Cheshire, CW5 5BQ
As a Museum, we record and display everyday histories from The Romans to the 20th Century. But what would your 'Everyday History' look like? As part of an exploration into contemporary collecting and the community, Nantwich Museum will be running a drop in zine-making workshop on Saturday 19th of September.
Cut, stick, scribble, write, paste, draw, and put together your own micro-magazine all about yourself. Bring your own stories and write your own history.
While you're here, you can contribute stories to our Time Capsule and add your own history to our temporary exhibition.
'A History of You' invites participants to consider questions of Memory, Significance, Time, and History. The event is about opening the doors of Nantwich Museum to see behind the curtain of how History is made, stored, and interpreted at the Museum. Find connections between the everyday histories of the past and your own everyday history.
