Guided Tours of the Church and it's history dating back to 1876 and bringing you right up to the present day. Linking in with families from today, showing the changes in the dynamic of this West Cumbrian town from thriving industrial town to what it is today. Featuring Jervaulx Alabaster reliefs, Robert Mouseman Thompson choir stalls, hand carved reredos and much much more. Slide Shows of stained glass windows and the families who dedicated them, an insight into the challenges of living in the early 1900's and the hardships they endured through our original miners cottages. Children's activities to include Treasure Hunt round the church, Build a representation of a favourite piece in the church using LEGO , both children's activities will have prizes for the best effort . Refreshments available an all round family fun afternoon. Come along and help us celebrate this wonderful hidden gem.

wheelchair access is via the Nuns Door at the back of the church - take the left side path at the front of the church and this will lead you to the Nun's door. wheelchair access to the Hall where refreshments will be served and the slide shows - is a short walk from the church. Volunteers will be on hand to guide and assist.
