A plan takes shape - the architecture of art and design
All Good Stuff at Butcher Works, 72 Arundel Street, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S1 2NS
A chance to see the beautifully restored Grade II* listed Butcher Works with its cobbled courtyard and original red brick chimney - an architectural jewel which still inspires artists today.
Participating artists from 'All Good Stuff' will be exhibiting their work, offering demonstrations and conversation in the beautiful and historic Butcher Works gallery:
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September - Alex McArthur, Dawn Ireland, Giedre Sadauskaite, Gill Black (Silver Redesigned), Janine Barnsley, Judy Randle, Vivi Rivas
Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September - Dave Vanderhoven, Dawn Ireland, Charlotte Gower, Nik Baker (Hummingbird Glass).
On Saturday 13th September, you can meet the architect involved in the award winning restoration of this iconic building. There will be a display showing the renovation of the Butcher Works. Originally built in 1835, it is one of only a few 19th Century cutlery works to remain intact.
