Abbey House - part of the Glastonbury Abbey estate - opens its doors and welcomes you into the often overlooked post-Dissolution history of the abbey site and its inhabitants.

Take an hourly (bookable) accessible tour of the main ground floor rooms and gardens of Abbey House and learn about its previous owners from information panels and archive material. Listen to audio reminiscences about the house from local oral history and enjoy refreshments on the terrace.
Book onto our evening talk (Monday only) to hear about the history of the house from the 1820s to the modern day plus its Australian connection through the Austin family.

Please enter via Chilkwell Street entrance only. No access from Glastonbury Abbey main site. Car parking is limited to disabled parking only. The nearest car park is Silver Street.

Prebooking of house tours can be done on Glastonbury Abbey website (link to follow). Walkups may join if any spaces remain. The talk on the evening of Mon 15th September must also be prebooked via the website.
