Abingdon Baptist Church and former Manse
35 Ock Street, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, OX14 5AG
An 18th century panelled room and staircase are included in a tour of the refurbished former minister's house dating back to the early 17th century, the ground floor of which is now a café run by volunteers. The recently reordered 1841 classical-fronted church is also open, featuring a gallery and baptistry. There are other interesting features including the probable remains of an earlier chapel in the grounds and neighbouring classrooms of a 'British School' which once fronted the site.
