Directions:
Claremont Rd can be reached by the No 85 or 85A Bee Network bus from Manchester City centre. The bus stop is Claremont Rd/ Yarburgh St with a short walk in the park up the "Raised walk" to reach the lodge.

Accessibility details

The park has a small car park but to access Chorlton Lodge there is plenty of street parking. The cafe is a 10 minute walk across the park. Its on level ground and fully wheel chair accessible.

Additional information

The Park Lodge was the home of the deputy park superintendent. It is the Heritage Centre for the Park and contains exhibitions and films on the history of 150 years of the Park. This year we also have a photographic exhibition showing the culmination of a local initiative with young people from diverse cultural backgrounds which celebrates their rich heritage.
