Visit the house and gardens at Anglesey Abbey. Spanning across 46 hectares, the property offers something for everyone; from the stunning Jacobean-style house full of rich history, to the formal gardens filled with statues, and the woodland areas.

During September, visitors can enjoy a special exhibition that celebrates both 100 years of Anglesey Abbey, and 60 years in the care of the National Trust. The exhibition in the house, 'The Art of Collecting - 100 Years of the Fairhaven Legacy', takes visitors on journey through the development of the space, and Lord Fairhaven's eclectic collecting practices.

In the gardens, visitors can discover more about the history and evolution of the spaces and see photos from Lord Fairhaven's private photography collection which have never been on display before. During September, the Dahlia Garden will be a must-visit as it features of 60 varieties of dahlia, displayed in a sweeping rainbow formation.

Directions:
If traveling via the A14, please take junction 35 and drive through the village of Stow-Cum-Quy towards Lode (on B1102), where you'll find the entrance gate on your left. Parking: Our car park is free to use for both members and non-members. There are accessible parking spaces, as well as family parking bays. The visitor centre entrance is 50 yards from the car park. 12 EV charging points are now available. See “Facilities” for more information. Drivers will require their own cables to charge. Regular buses stop 5 minutes away. They run from: Burwell (15 mins), Cambridge (30 mins) and Newmarket (45 mins). The new Tiger 5 bus route run by A2B between Cambridge and Soham passes Anglesey Abbey, as does the Tiger 4 route run by Stagecoach between Newmarket and Addenbrookes. The services run hourly Monday to Saturday. Alight at the crossroads in Lode.
