Apple Picking
Ampleforth Abbey Orchard & Cider Mill, Aumit Lane, York, North Yorkshire, YO62 4HA
Ampleforth Abbey’s 200-year-old heritage orchard is one of the largest in the North of England. Don't miss this special opportunity to pick your own apples and discover how Ampleforth Abbey apple juice and full juice cider are pressed in the Abbey’s own Cider Mill.
This is an outdoor event so please wear sensible footwear and dress for the weather. This event may not be suitable for people with accessibility requirements due to the undulating terrain of the orchard. Please take care when walking on uneven ground and be aware of insects, including wasps and bees. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Due to the unpredictability of the harvest, the number of apples available to pick will vary year on year.
