The Crafty Ladies have created a fantastic summer trail has been extended and adapted to be included in Appleby's Heritage Open Weekend!

There are lots of animals and crafty characters to spot. Trail maps can be collected from the Tourist Information Centre.

Directions:
The Crafty Ladies trail is based around the riverside walk, but maps can be collected from Appleby Tourist Information Centre. There are also some crafty characters in Appleby's shop windows - but can you spot them!

Accessibility details

Parking in the centre of town is disc display for 2/3 hours, depending on signage. Discs available from TIC and most shops. There is also a free car park on Holme Street, which is well sign posted.

Recently refurbished (2022), the Moot Hall is still used for its original purpose. Official Town Council Business is conducted in the Council Chamber, just as in centuries past. Downstairs now hosts the Tourist Information Centre and Exhibition Room.
