Architectural Tour of Stowe House

Join us at Stowe as we open our doors for the annual Heritage Open Day. With free entry across the estate, take this unique opportunity to explore 250 acres of monumental landscaped gardens, take a taster tour of Stowe House where you can discover the fascinating architectural history of one of Britain’s finest hidden gems, visit Stowe Church and the Gothic Temple, normally an exclusive holiday cottage for the Landmark Trust.
As our building also serves a school and it's term time. we'll be offering tours only with limited numbers. You can pre-book online or arrive on the day with a first serve basis if there is availability. Tours will be running every 30 minutes from 11.00am until 4.00pm and will include the South Front, Marble Saloon, North Hall and the North Front of Stowe House.

- We ask visitors to arrive and park at the National Trust Stowe Gardens, New Inn Farm, Buckingham, Bucks, MK18 5DQ following the brown oakleaf road signs. Enjoy free access to the gardens and take a leisurely walk to the House visitor centre, taking approximately 30 minutes. There are uneven stone paths and an inclines on-route.
