‘Four Phases of Wentworth’ tour.
Join our volunteers to admire and learn more about the different historical phases of the mansion house, now managed by Northern College.
Book on arrival at the visitor welcome building.
Saturday 20th September, 11.00am and 1.00pm.
Orangery and walled garden tours.
A behind the scenes tour which explores the history, current work and future plans for this historically productive area.

Sunday 21st September, 11.00am- 12.30pm.
Photography walk.
Explore some of the estate’s remarkable architectural features and discover new ways of capturing them on this guided photography walk.

Visiting families can try our free Building Wentworth spotter activity highlighting shapes in the historic architecture and magical Stainborough castle is the perfect spot for a picnic.

There are steep gradients throughout the gardens. To help you access the gardens, we run a buggy shuttle service. Please ask at visitor reception on your arrival. There are also personal mobility scooters to hire for use in the gardens. Please book these in advance by emailing: [email protected].
