Atherstone Library's Home Front Display

The library will be showing a small display about life in Atherstone and the surrounding area during the World War II including photographs and other material from the local studies collection.

Material from the collection will reflect aspects of life in Atherstone and may include information about evacuees, Prisoners of War, rationing, air raids an other associated themes. If you have a family story, or photographs about life in Warwickshire during this time please let staff know as we would like to add them to our collection for others to share.

Accessibility details

Access into the building is at street level at the side of the library and all facilities are on the ground floor. There are no public toilets or baby changing facilities. Staff will be able to direct customers to the nearest facilities. Parking is available close by in the Leisure Centre car park and charges apply.
