Bampton Open Tower (Devon)

Visitors can enjoy a series of activities which include climbing the tower to see the clock and bells, watching the bells being rung, viewing the displays and videos, learning about what is involved in becoming a bellringer and having a go at ringing a bell. Tours lasting an hour will run at 2:00, 3:00 & 4:00pm. Places on tours will be strictly limited. This event is not suitable for children under 8 years of age or for those with certain medical conditions or limited mobility.

To participate in most aspects of this event you will need to be able to climb stairs without difficulty. We regret that we cannot accommodate children under 8 years at this event. Children 8 - 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Additional information

Tower tours involve climbing spiral stairs and ladders and may not be suitable for those of limited mobility.
