Behind the Books Tours

From mummies to wombats, the Lit & Phil's Behind the Books tours will give you an insight into Newcastle's independent library, the Lit & Phil. Founded in 1793 but at home on Westgate Road since 1825 you will be inspired by our library, building and stories from our illustrious past.
