Discover more about what we do on a FREE behind the scenes tour of the Royal Berkshire Archives.

This tour will take you where visitors are not normally permitted to go. You will experience our archive strongrooms and see our staff areas. You'll discover more about the services we offer, the collections we hold, and how to visit to use the archives yourself. There will be archives on display connected to the HOD theme of Everyday Histories, looking at what you can find out about Berkshire people in the everyday records of their lives. The tour will finish in our conservation studio where our conservators will show you items that they have been working on and explain their different techniques and processes.
