Holy Trinity church in Reading

Holy Trinity Church is a Grade II listed building on Oxford road in Reading.
The church was built in 1826 as a proprietary chapel following the design of local architect Edward Garbett. In 1870 it became a parish church in its own right.
The chancel screen in the Church was designed by Augustus Pugin, pioneer of gothic revival, and had originally been installed in St Chad's Catholic cathedral in Birmingham. When the cathedral’s interior design was simplified in the 1960s, the screen was rescued and installed in Holy Trinity by Fr Brindley, who was Vicar from 1967 to 1989.
