Tours of old and new buildings running throughout the morning.

Following the award winning Community History Festival in March, BHASVIC is delighted to open its doors to the general public once more.

Bookable tours of the Main Building, College House and The Elms Building will be led by current students and staff. Learn how education has changed over time, from the classical references embedded in the stained glass windows to the different classroom layouts and the importance of sustainable and inclusive architecture now.

Alongside the tours, an exhibition of shared stories, people & architecture of the school and college from 1859-2026 as well as an exhibition of Community History will also be available. Please see separate event listing for further details.

This event was supported by leading family history website, Findmypast, who provided access to their records as part of their sponsorship of ‘Everyday Histories’, the festival theme. Discover your ancestors' stories at findmypast.co.uk
