Local history museum open for HODs

For this year's Heritage Open Days, Birchington Heritage Trust Museum will be Celebrating 'Station Road,' and its 130th year since gaining its status as a formally recognised and named highway.

There will be a special exhibition in the museum of photos of Station Road, its shops and associated items during library opening times from Saturday 13 September 2025-Saturday 20 September 2025. The Museum will be staffed for an additional 2.5 hours on the first Saturday and again on the mornings of Tuesday and Friday to support the additional local interest. The archives are available to be accessed at the times the Museum is staffed to gain additional information and make purchases of publications about Birchington's history.
