Starting at Bodmin Keep: Cornwall’s Army Museum, this guided walk through the town's military past explores the unexpected stories behind some of Bodmin’s most unassuming streets and iconic buildings.

From the establishment of the Keep and Victoria Barracks in the 19th century, to the lives of the soldiers and local community that have shaped the town since, discover the places and stories behind Bodmin's past. This opportunity to connect with Bodmin’s rich and often overlooked history as a garrison town is not one to be missed! We look forward to seeing you there!

The tour covers approximately 2 miles and includes road crossings and some steep hills. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing for the weather. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Dogs welcome.

Please follow the guides instructions at all times and take extra care crossing roads and on uneven and steep sections of the route.
