Bag Lady

Bag Lady is especially designed for families who have a child with additional needs and has been devised and developed by Kim and Russ at Shabang. The performance will take place in the Grade II listed Chapel main space, previously a Baptist Chapel congregational space which has been lovingly re-furbished. The audience will meet Ivy and Algie her affable side-kick as they wander the country lanes singing songs, telling stories and setting up camp for a night or two before they move on. Ivy has a collection of mysterious stones and each one tells an everyday story and each story lives in one of her special bags. The performance unfolds with original songs, music, and multi-sensory techniques and the audience will be welcomed with refreshments on arrival.
