From a chapel built into Canterbury's city wall through to a place of worship originally used by Walloon and Huguenot refugees in the sixteenth century, join a guided tour of some of Canterbury Cathedral's hidden churches. With exclusive access to chapels not usually open to the public, you can explore the sights and stories of centuries of worship at Canterbury. This tour offers the chance to visit the Bastion Chapel, set in the Cathedral's Memorial Garden; the Huguenot Chapel, which is also the city's French church, and Our Lady Martyrdom chapel, close to the site of St Thomas Becket's Martyrdom with a stunning fan-vaulted ceiling and newly-restored Angel frieze inside.
Please note that there are a few steps to climb to access the Bastion chapel.

There are steps up to the Bastion Chapel, so there is no wheelchair access here. Wheelchair access is possible to the Huguenot Chapel and Our Lady Martyrdom Chapel. Disabled parking must be pre-booked via [email protected], subject to availability.
