Capturing Berwick - A History of Photography in Berwick: 1840-1940
The Straw Yard, Parade, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, TD15 1DF
Over a period of 100 years the town played host to a number of photographers. Some had bricks and mortar studios and others passed through the town, practicing their art as part of a nomadic life on the road.
This talk will explore some of the many eccentric characters who plied their trade behind the lens over the years and showcase some of the amazing photographic collections held within Berwick.
