Celebrating the Birchcliffe then and now
Birchcliffe Centre, Chapel Avenue, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, HX7 8DG
Incredible architecture is at the heart of the towns of the Calder Valley. Come and explore the history of the Birchcliffe Centre, a Grade-II listed former Baptist chapel, as we unveil a new permanent exhibition on the building and celebrate some of the restoration work that we've undertaken. It's not only about the past though, as we celebrate the work we have done with our Learning Disability group over the past year. Take part in one of our sessions to see how we approach history and heritage in a creative and fun way and take something home for yourself!

Our main entrance and hall, where the exhibition and creative activity sessions will take place, is wheelchair accessible. For the hall, you can access from the lower car park. For the ground floor, you can access from the side entrance on Chapel Avenue. Please ask a volunteer for assistance on the day. Unfortunately the tour of the building is not wheelchair accessible, and involves three flights of stairs.
