Chester’s Quirks & Curiosities Guided Walk
Chester Castle Propylaeum, Grosvenor Street, Chester, Cheshire, CH1 2DN
Chester isn’t short of attractions that make it stand out from other cities, but a closer peek at some of our streets and buildings reveals several little oddities that many people probably walk past without a second glance.
Join your guide Maria Owen on this free walk. Having lived in the Chester area all her life, Maria has developed a great love of the city and all its little quirks and foibles! Various bits of curious ironwork pinned to walls, one tiny rat, a phoenix, several little devils and even a liver bird will be spotted on your jaunt around Chester’s streets.
Please note that the walk will end on Castle Street at 7pm.
