Studies show that across the world many teenagers and young adults are worrying about climate change and fearful for the future.

‘Climate Anxiety’ - Studies show that across the world many teenagers and young adults are worrying about climate change and fearful for the future. This may be contributing to the increase in mental health problems seen in young people. In this short film, young people, parents and professionals discuss their experiences of climate anxiety, and explain how for many activism and working with like-minded people who understand and share their concerns is an effective way of dealing with their anxieties. ‘Bats, Bottles & Butterflies’ - In this short film, young people from schools in Cambridgeshire demonstrate the powerful dynamic between hope and action, and showcase their commitment to making a difference to the world and their future. From developing a garden from scratch to building bat boxes, from creating a climate change exhibition to making eco-bricks, school students share the actions they are taking against climate change and biodiversity loss. Cambridge Moviemakers is a group of people who are retired or no longer in full-time employment. We make short drama and documentary films on a wide variety of topics.
