Coanwood Quaker Meeting House in the Spring

Come along and enjoy the beautiful, unspoilt, peaceful surroundings. Historical information is available to see at the event. Bring some food and drink for a picnic in the grounds if you wish.

On Saturday, 19th, members will also be present on site to answer any questions you have about the Meeting House. At 1pm there will be a free talk on the Quakers of West Northumberland by David Penn on behalf of the South Tynedale History Group.

Plenty of seating is available, and feel free to use the facilities; an Elsan toilet is available onsite. Please park in allotted area to avoid obstructing the local farm access.

Accessibility details

Please do not park on the farmers land next to the Meeting House. Park near the wheelie bins please, except on 19th sept when parking will be signposted.
