Cottingham Methodist Church
166 Hallgate, Cottingham, East Riding of Yorkshire, HU16 4BD
The church was built in 1878. In 1977, the church interior was divided into two separate floors, the upstairs forming the church, and the ground floor becoming a social area for meetings, events and refreshments. Each year, the church hosts the Cottingham Methodist Church Musical Festival, where children and adults from the area perform.
Although the church is upstairs, there is a lift. There will be a display showing the history of the church and members of the church will be available to answer questions.
Tea and coffee will be available downstairs.
Next to the church are the Memorial Gardens, commemorating the Cottingham men killed in the two World Wars.
