Explore the cultural significance , history and traditional storytelling connected to two ancient games - Ayo (also know as Oware) from Africa and Mahjong from China.

Participants can learn to play two ancient games: Ayo (also known as Oware) from Africa and Mahjong from China.The Mahjong workshops will be led by the Chinese community in Milton Keynes.

These workshops will promote critical thinking, cultural exchange and social interaction through hands-on play. Have fun and learn something new!

In addition to the 3-hour free parking available at Sainsbury’s opposite, there are low-cost parking spaces in front of the venue. The venue is also within twenty minutes' walk of Milton Keynes main train station as well as being easily accessible by buses.
