Brookwood Military Cemetery is the largest Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) site in the United Kingdom, spanning 37 acres and commemorating servicemen and women from across the Commonwealth. The site also neighbours Brookwood American Cemetery, offering visitors a unique opportunity to explore two internationally significant places of remembrance in one visit.
Explore our stunning new memorial and join a free themed tour to discover the remarkable stories commemorated across the CWGC and Brookwood American Cemeteries. Families can enjoy a range of children's activities, including headstone rubbing and wreath making, while history enthusiasts can delve into our archives and discover connections to their own family history.
Whether you're interested in local heritage, military history, genealogy, or simply looking for an inspiring day out, there's something for everyone at Brookwood.
