Join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for a free tour of Brookwood Military Cemetery

Brookwood Military Cemetery is the final resting place of over 8500 Commonwealth servicemen and women. In addition to the Commonwealth plots, the cemetery also contains Belgian, Czechoslovakian, French, Italian and Polish sections, and a number of war graves of other nationalities all cared for by the CWGC.

Accessibility details

Please come dressed for the weather and in a suitable walking shoe. The tour lasts approx. 90 minutes and involves walking on grass. Brookwood Military Cemetery can only be accessed by vehicle via the entrance off Dawney Hill. Limited parking is available outside the Canada building or down a road to the right of the entrance. There is a direct train service from Waterloo to Brookwood Station from which there is an entrance to the cemetery. You will need to allow 10-15 minutes to walk from the station to the meeting point.
