Mansfield Cemetery with buildings designed by JP Pritchett and sons, is a mid 19th century cemetery and is still open for burials today.
The cemetery contains 51 burials of the First World War and 45 of the Second World war.
The tour will be a circular route looking at war graves from the First World War and learning about the history of the cemetery Memorial cross. On this tour refreshments will be available after the tour as The Friends of Mansfield Cemetery will be hosting an event in support of Heritage Open Days.

The tour lasts approx. 60 mins and covers about 1000 metres on paths and grass with uneven ground. There is wheelchair access. Parking is available on site and nearby. There are no on-site facilities and toilets. Please bring water if required. Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear. Only assistance dogs are allowed in the cemetery.
