Discovering Ledbury Bell Tower

Your visit will start with the bellringing exhibition on the ground floor which will provide useful context for the tour that follows. You will visit the ringing room, clock room, bell chamber and (if you are fit and over 12 years old) the parapet of the tower. Along the way, you will have a chance to chime a bell, ring our training bell and find out about what "change ringing" is. You will learn about the history of the 800 year-old tower and many of its architectural features.

There is no parking at the church. You should park at one of the town car parks and then walk up Church Lane (the cobbled street by the Market House).

There are two steps to the ground floor exhibition and the floor is very uneven on this and other levels. Access to the second and third level are by spiral staircase with some worn and uneven steps. Steps to the bells and to the parapet are wooden and have no backs to them.
