Freemasonry has been part of Dover’s story since the 18th century. This open day offers a chance to look inside the Masonic Hall, tour the lodge room, learn about more about freemasonry and its through displays and the opportunity to speak to Masons

Join us for a special Open Day at the Dover Masonic Hall, where the doors of one of Dover’s most historic and intriguing buildings will be open to the public. Whether you’ve always wondered what Freemasonry is, are curious about the history of the Hall, or simply want to meet the people behind the organisation, this is the perfect opportunity. To tour the Lodge Room and look through the displays and exhibits on the history of Freemasonry in Dover up to the present day. Meet local Freemasons and ask questions in a relaxed, friendly setting

Everyone is welcome — individuals, families, local residents, history enthusiasts, and anyone curious about what Freemasonry really is. There’s no dress code, no formalities, and no obligation of any kind. Just come along, explore, and enjoy.
