The Town Hall will host The Breakaways Ukulele Band.
This local band formed of friends who have known each other for 10 years sing and play foot tapping songs from the 60s and 70s. Come and join in the lively atmosphere created by the seven members who all sing and play - not only ukulele's but also banjoleles, accordion, percussion, bodhran, guitar and harmonica. This entertaining septet is regularly booked for festivals, heritage events and private parties and entertain care home residents. A magical moment was playing 'Over the Rainbow' for a bride walking down the aisle. Come rain or shine they practise every week travelling from around the King's Lynn, West Norfolk area. Originally members of FLUKES which was established by Linn Miller and her late husband Iain the group developed in to The Breakaways.

The Breakaways will play 2 x 30 minute 'sets' in the Main Hall of the Town Hall. There is a craft show on in the room all day...but seats will be provided....so sit back and enjoy - or peruse the stalls enjoying the backdrop of music.
