- If you are travelling to us for the first time, a special thanks and warm welcome awaits you! We are situated near to the top of White Hart Street. Thetford train station is a 7-10 minutes’ walk to the museum. If you are travelling by car, our postcode for your Sat Nav is IP24 1AD, and driving access to White Hart Street is from the south end of the road only. There is a parking bay outside our entrance, but this is limited to 20 minutes, so please do take advantage of the unrestricted free car parking on White Hart Street opposite us, or there is another larger car park that is also free, further down White Hart Street (back the way you came up it) behind the Light Cinema and the Travelodge. There is currently scaffolding outside the building next door: please don’t be alarmed, we are still safely here and very much open for business! Please be aware that accessibility for pushchairs, mobility scooters and wheelchairs is currently impaired by scaffolding on the building next door which is restricting the width of the nearest dropped kerb.
