Come and see the East Corner Tower of the Roman fortress of Eboracum excavated 100 years ago by Professor Steuart Miller, and meet the CYC Ancient Monuments Team. Open between 10:00 and 16:00 with guided tours 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00.

The remains of the Roman East Corner Tower of Eboracum will be open to visitors for the day. Come and meet the City of York Council Ancient Monuments Team and learn about the historic excavations carried Professor Steuart Miller 100 years ago and our research and management of the city walls today.

Open for drop-in 10:00-16:00, guided tours 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00

There is no parking on site. Accessibility is somewhat limited and may not be suitable for wheelchair users due to the presence of a step and uneven ground levels across a yard space and the turf of the city walls rampart.
