People of Holy Trinity Goodramgate York
Holy Trinity Church, 70 Goodramgate, York, North Yorkshire, YO1 7LF
Holy Trinity Goodramgate, York (part of the Churches Conservation Trust) has always been about stories of ordinary people. While the nearby York Minster dealt with the scholarship and pageantry, Holy Trinity Goodramgate quietly got on with managing births, marriages and deaths for the local people, mainly traders on Goodramgate. Our short tour, which take you inside and outside our building, will introduce you to the vicars, mayors, sculptors, millers, butchers and even a comedian who would have been familiar with this place and the tales they have to tell.
Tours will last approximately one hour.
Site will be open across Hertiage Open Days, Wednesday to Sunday (inc), 11am to 4pm. Tours available only on 12 and 13 September 2026.
