Immerse yourself in the canal's history with our exhibition in the Toll House, featuring photos and artifacts from the Erewash Canal Preservation and Development Association and its local community. To help with numbers we would appreciate visitors booking for the guided tours and Witness Testimony, either on line at Eventbrite or at the Booking Desk in the Toll House on the day. Access to the exhibits, refreshments and cycle trail are available all day.

Accessibility details

Some of the heritage sites have stepped access. Whilst there are some footpaths, the guided tours will take place across uneven terrain which can be muddy if we have had excessive rainfall. This event will also be close to canal water, we advise care be taken when walking around the site and that children are supervised at all times.

We suggest you wear walking shoes as the ground can be uneven and muddy if we have had heavy rainfall.
