Whilst there are footpaths access to some areas requires climbing steps and slopes. There are no toilets at Mills Dockyard, however public toilets are plentiful at Trent Lock, and there are two excellent public houses here too! This event will also be close to canal water, we advise care be taken when walking around the site and that children are supervised at all times.
We suggest your wear walking shoes as the terrain can be uneven and muddy if we have had heavy rainfall. Please note that this event is alongside the canal, whilst the water isn't too deep we do advise that care is taken to avoid any accidental falls.
