Come along to a talk hosted by Library Development Officer Claire Gorton about Edward Potts, the man who designed many Victorian Mills, but also played a key role in bringing the Eccles Carnegie Library to life! She'll be looking at some of his other buildings that he designed during his career, and delving deeper into his family roots, the work behind the scenes that allowed the Carnegie funding to be given and the Library to be built and opened in 1907.

There are a few disabled parking bays in the library car park. There are also disabled parking bays in the car park opposite at Eccles Leisure Centre. You can also park for a limited time at Morrisons in Eccles, which is a 5 minute walk from the library. There is a ramp at the main entrance with automatic doors.
