Join us at Heckington Windmill on the 13th of September and enjoy free entry to the mill. Step back in time and experience the site and smells of everyday history at the mill - life as a miller.

Enjoy learning about, seeing, and experiencing the history of our iconic windmill, where visitors can step back into the everyday life of a miller and gain a real sense of the scale of work and dedication involved in this vital trade.

As an added bonus, we are delighted to present our new small exhibition, Pins & Needles: The Craft of Sewing. This exhibition explores the art of dressmaking from the late Victorian period to early modern Britain, featuring a fascinating display of tools, fabrics and techniques that brought garments to life.
