Exploring Architecture Through Physical Theatre
Carrow House, 301, King Street, Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 2TG
Step into space, structure, and build stories with your body, brick by brick.
Reflex Theatre presents a dynamic workshop that blends movement, imagination, and the built environment. This playful, energetic session invites you to consider how bodies and buildings interact, how spaces can shape narrative, and how you can animate the architecture around us.
Using physical theatre techniques, we’ll explore scale, rhythm, and spatial relationships through a series of warm-ups, ensemble exercises, and devised movement sequences. You will investigate how to embody architectural forms, translate structural ideas into choreography, and discover how environment informs emotion and story.
Ideal for performers, dancers, designers, and curious creatives, the workshop encourages experimentation, collaboration, and a new perspective on your surroundings. No previous experience in physical theatre is required—just a willingness to move, imagine, and create.
