Farne Islands

1 Harbour Road, Seahouses, Northumberland, NE68 7RN

  • Multiple dates available
  • In person
  • Pre-booking preferred

Land on Inner Farne and experience the magic of the Farne Islands. An exhilarating boat ride to another world, spotting seals and maybe dolphins, and an hour on this very special island to explore the rich cultural heritage of this place.

The Farne Islands are rich in natural and cultural heritage. Although most of the birds will have migrated, the island is a beautiful and peaceful place to explore. Sit awhile in St Cuthbert's Chapel, with beautiful stained glass window, and take in views of Bamburgh Castle and Longstone Lighthouse, former home of heroine Grace Darling.

There is a large resident Atlantic grey seal population here, so you are guaranteed to see them popping curious heads above the water or lounging on the rocks around the islands.

Please note - seperate boat fee will apply.
