Farnham Castle dates from the twelfth century, and for 900 years, until the mid-twentieth century, was the home and power base of the Bishops of Winchester, and consequently frequently visited by royalty. The Keep and Palace are of great historical significance, and the historic buildings are Grade 1 and Grade 2 Listed.
Farnham Castle is now a private venue for Weddings, Events and Conferences, and is the jewel in Farnham’s crown, looking down upon the town from its elevated position on Castle Hill.
