Join us for two special handling sessions focusing on Sir Terry Farrell’s archive and key items from our Concrete Dreams exhibition.

13 Sep | Learn about Tyneside’s Modernist past and get hands on with original archival documents, prints and artefacts from the Farrell Centre’s past exhibition Concrete Dreams. The Farrell Centre team will talk you through the major architectural points from the 1960’s through to the early 1980’s, from housing clearance to the opening of the Metro!

19 Sep | Discover more about the world-renowned architect, urbanist and Newcastle University Alumni Sir Terry Farrell in this one-off session. The Farrell Centre team will guide you through Farrell’s notable projects from his student days to the present, before proving behind-the-scenes access to the Farrell Centre’s Farrell Library. Explore a curious collection of Sir Terry’s personal books, objects and paintings.
